The Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. is a research-based clinical laboratory offering testing for metabolic, nutritional, and toxic factors in chronic conditions such as autism, AD(H)D, fibromyalgia, and gastrointestinal and neuropsychiatric disorders. SUMMARY

Provides excellent customer service through interactions with patients/customers, potential clients, and physicians by providing and processing information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about testing and services.

Requirements

  • Experience working in clerical positions in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.

  • Previous customer service supervisory experience a plus.

  • Answers all incoming phone calls and responds to customer requests.

  • Directs all incoming calls to appropriate departments, as necessary.

  • Enters kit orders for physicians and patients, including notes and any other appropriate information as requested.

  • Identifies, researches, and resolves customer issues and complaints.

  • Resolves problems with shipping department regarding kit order issues.

  • Schedules appointments for physicians and patients to consult with biochemist and phlebotomist.

  • Receives and responds to GPL’s general voicemail.

  • Responds to questions via email.

  • Sends updates to patients and physicians as directed.

  • Participates in multiple projects simultaneously, must multi-task.

  • Displays a continual positive and professional attitude in all circumstances and cares for customer requests with the utmost respect and compassion.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
