Shipping within the United States
The Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. will ship test kits to the physician or directly to the patient. The tests kits will include everything the patient needs to collect and submit the specimen. We do not require patients to have the practitioner authorization before ordering a test kit. However, a prescription or signed requisition must be returned with the specimen or sent to our lab directly by the practitioner. Please click here to order test kits online.
Shipping in the US is free. Domestic patients will not need to pay FedEx when sending samples to our laboratory. After collecting the sample, please call 1-800-463-3339 (1-800-GoFedEx) for pick up. Remember to mention you have an overnight FedEx billable stamp return.
International Shipping
We use the FedEx International Priority Service when shipping kits to and from the United States. International patients are responsible for the cost of shipping test kits both into and out of the laboratory. Shipping charges will vary depending on the country. For an approximation of expedited cost for shipping specimen into the US, please see the International shipping charges below*.
A copy of a commercial invoice, necessary to clear US customs is provided in all our test kits. Please make sure you enclose 4 copies of the commercial invoice to avoid potential delays in customs.
We have distributors in many countries that can provide our test kits to you at a reduced cost. Please contact the laboratory to find out if there is a distributor in your country.
* The shipping rates listed are subject to change without previous notice due to the volatile international gas prices. GPL will not be held responsible for refunds in the event that the package is detained in customs or if any additional charges apply.
