Dr. William Shaw . (USA)
Received his Ph.D. in biochemistry and human physiology from the Medical University of SC. He is board certified in the fields of clinical chemistry and toxicology by American Board of Clinical Chemistry. He has supervised large endocrinology, nutritional biochemistry, and toxicology and immunology departments at the CDC and Smith Kline Laboratories, and was a director at Children's Mercy Hospital. Dr. Shaw is the Director of The Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. for Health, Nutrition, and Metabolism, a laboratory specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic disorders of adults and children. He is author of “Biological Treatments for Autism and PDD” and a frequent speaker at autism conferences worldwide

Lori Knowles (USA)
New Beginnings Nutritionals Manager
Mother of a recovered child and General Manager of New Beginnings Nutritionals. She is a frequent speaker on biochemical interventions to parents and professionals at autism conferences around the World. Over the past five years, she has worked closely with Dr. William Shaw, PhD to create New Beginnings Nutritionals, a cutting edge nutritional supplement company that supports the unique needs of children with autism. She collaborates with physicians, naturopaths, scientists, autism researchers and parents in order to create a diverse product line that parents and physicians can trust. Lori enjoys drawing from both her extensive research, professional and personal experience in recovering her own child to support parents and practitioners seeking answers to improve the lives of children affected with autism.


Dr. Leticia Dominguez (USA)
Dr. Dominguez studied stomatology at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City. Her medical practice was combined with teaching for over 15 years. She is the co-founder and president of the Liga de Intervención Nutricional contra Autismo e Hiperactividad A.C. (League of Nutritional Intervention against Autism and AD(H)D). Dr. Dominguez has spoken at several Autism and ASD-related international congresses and conferences in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, Europe, and the Middle East. She specializes in talks about Autism, AD(H)D, Metabolic Abnormalities in Developmental Disorders, Disabilities, Gluten-Free Casein-Free Diet, Impact of Dental Amalgam Fillings in Health, and Risks of Fluoride. Dr. Dominguez has spent the last few years researching and promoting the benefits of biological treatments for autism and PDD. She is the author of “Mejorando la Calidad de Vida de tu hijo autista o hiperactivo” (Improving the Life Quality of your Autistic and Hyperactive Son) and has written several articles about autism. She is also a mother of an autistic teenager

Dr. Gabriella Lesmo (ITALIA)
Surgeon and general practitioner. She has had specializations in Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, and Reanimation. She has worked for 25 years in neonatal pathology in several hospitals. She has been a Pediatrics professor at the Universita’ degli Studi di Milano, and at the school of general medicine at S. Gerardo di Monza Hospital. Doctor Lesmo is a specialist in homeopathic and clinical homotoxicology, chelation therapies, and ozone-oxygen therapy. She has devoted her life to the research of effective treatments for children in the autistic spectrum after her second child was diagnosed with autism. She is a certified DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) physician. Dr. Lesmo has been a speaker at local and international conferences.


Dr. Javier Hernández Covarrubias MD. (MEXICO)
He received his doctorate as an Ear Nose and Throat doctor (otolaryngologist) from the School of Medicine at the Universidad Anáhuac. He specializes in allergies and comprehensive treatments of autistic children. Dr. Covarrubias is a certified biomedical specialist using the “Defeat Autism Now!” approach. He received his post-graduate degrees from the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases, Bordeaux II University in France, and from the Environmental Health Clinic, Dallas, USA. He is a member of the Pan American Allergy Society. He has been trained on biological treatments at The Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. He is a speaker on allergy problems and their correlation with autism at several international conferences.


Danijela Helc-Komnenovic (SERBIA)
She received her degree in neuropsychology. She is a speech pathologist, Director of the Therapy Center “UNION HEALTH” in Belgrade, Serbia, and representative of The Great Plains Laboratory. She is also a certificated instructor for the ABA program in Serbia. Ms. Helc has been a speaker at several conferences in Eastern and Southern Europe, and an organizer of important conferences in Belgrade in 2005 and in 2008.


Manuel Dominguez Alcon (ITALIA)
He is the director of the Organizzazione Neurologica (“Istituti Fay Onlus”). He specializes in sensory integration therapies (auditory and sensory integration). Mr. Dominguez is in charge of the functional neurological evaluations of children and adults with brain injury, genetic syndromes, developmental and learning disabilities. He creates personalized rehabilitation therapies for his patients using neurodevelopmental techniques such as neurofeedback, physical therapies, and the stimulation of reflexes. Mr. Dominguez is a nutritionist and a DAN! Therapist; and, as such, has developed physiological and respiratory therapies. He has taken part in several local and international conferences. He is the Italian chairman of the INPP (Institute of Neurophysiological Psychology), ISND (International School for Neurodevelopment) which is in charge of training neurodevelopmental therapists. He is also the National Director and Supervisor of the Johansen IAS (Individualized Auditory Stimulation) in Italy and Spain.


Prof. Maria Elena Ferrero (ITALIA)
With a doctorate in medicine and surgery, Dr. Ferrero specializes in anesthesiology and rianimation. She is also the chair of Pathology and General Physiopathology at the School of Medicine and Surgery at the Universita’ degli Studi di Milano. She is the author of several books and more than 100 scientific papers. Her research is focused in immune pathologies with emphasis in the study of the biological effects of heavy metals
.


Paola Leila D’Amore (ITALIA)
She received her degree in herbal sciences and phytotherapy from the School of Pharmacy at the Universitŕ di Urbino. She is also a naturopath who specializes in nutrition, bioenergetics, EAV (electro-acupuncture by Voll), and spagiric and phytotherapy treatments. For over ten years Ms. D’Amore has worked in eating and environmental disorders interdisciplinary research groups together with endocrinologists, oncologists, pediatricians, dietitians, and odontologists. She has a deep knowledge of bioresonance techniques. In the last three years she has dedicated her studies to nutritional disorders and their impact in neurosensory disorders of the age of development.
