Presentations used in the Calgary Autism Conference!

Lori Knowles - Lori is a mother of four children, the youngest of whom was diagnosed with autism at the age of two years old. Unfamiliar with the disorder, Lori read Dr. Shaw's book Biological Treatments for Autism and PDD which lit a fire that inspired her to seek all possible treatments for her child. After extensive research and personal experience, Lori has become very knowledgeable about the role of different therapies, including diet intervention, supplements, yeast/bacteria intervention, detoxification and ABA. Combining both behavioral and biological interventions has enabled her son to lose most of his symptoms of autism. Lori currently works at The Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. where she is an advocate for parents seeking to improve their children's lives.
